Nashville Bartending Course InformationThere are two terms used when describing individuals who make drinks; bartenders and mixologists. The difference between a bartender and a mixologist is not only in the training you receive but also in the amount of money that you can make. A mixologist is trained to not only make drinks but is educated in customer service, basic beer and wine knowledge, responsible alcohol service, and a variety of other skills that separates a mixologist from the common bartender. At the Nashville campus we pride ourselves on teaching the finest programs available. We are part of PBSA which is the largest and most reputable chain of schools in the country. We also teach the ServSafe responsible alcohol program which is the only program approved by the National Restaurant Association.
The graduates of our campus learn over 150 of the most trendy and traditional drinks served around the country and locally. We teach everything from Apple Martinis to Hurricanes to a White Russian. Our beer program was provided by Anheuser-Busch and Guinness. The tuition for our 40-hour Professional Bartending/Mixology course is based on the average income of a professional bartender in the greater Nashville area. We have found that most of our graduates can earn their full tuition back in as little as one week on the job.
Our 2010 tuition for our 40-hour course is only $595.00. This same program was $695.00 for over 10 years here at the Nashville campus. Due to the huge demand for bartenders in this area, our program tuition was lowered to $595.00 to help fill the demand for part time and full time bartenders. Payment options are available and are only discussed during your personal interview and school tour. We accept all major credit cards.
